APSCO has undertaken numerous projects in close cooperation with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and airport authorities for the development of “into-plane” facilities and fuel depots throughout many airports across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

SAUDI GOVERNMENT AUTHORITY OF CIVIL AVIATION

APSCO, through its Engineering and Technical Services (ETS) team, has been instrumental in the construction of the Jet A1 fuel depot infrastructure projects, which have been designed in accordance with the Joint Inspection Group (JIG), International Air Transport Association (IATA), local and international standards. APSCO has also, successfully completed numerous more projects across Saudi Arabia. From front-end engineering design, implementation, overall project management and commissioning, APSCO has played a pivotal role in shaping the aviation fuel infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

APSCO also enforces proper preventive and corrective maintenance services across all its airports and terminals. We also offer technical assistance, provide direction and support management and assistance in the resolution of product quality and operational issues.

Key Services:

Notable Projects:

• King Abdulaziz International Airport (Jeddah): APSCO, in collaboration with joint venture partners, operates and maintains a new fuel depot and spearheads the relocation of Into-Plane facilities. The company played a crucial role in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and testing activities.
• King Abdulaziz International Airport (Jeddah):  INTO PLANE (ITP) FACILITY PROJECT

Apsco has executed Project Management Services for KAIA-ITP Facility project for Six (6) Into-Plane Fueling companies comprising of Administration and Maintenance Buildings, Dispensers and Refueler Shaded Parking. Scope of Work includes bid reassessment, design change management, subcontractor evaluation, interface coordination, resource management, snag list management, documentation control, factory acceptance test (FAT) and commissioning.

• Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (Medina): APSCO overseen the design and construction of a modern Jet A-1 Fuel Depot to meet the fueling needs of the new Airport Terminal, ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing safety and environmental measures.
• King Fahd International Airport (Dammam): APSCO undertaken the modification of hydrant pit valves in compliance with the latest industry standards (EI-1584).
• Security Aviation Projects: APSCO has involved in the design, engineering, procurement, and construction of fuel farms at various GSA base locations, emphasizing testing and commissioning.
• King Khalid International Airport (Riyadh)- APSCO provides comprehensive maintenance services for fuel hydrant systems, adhering to the highest industry standards and guidelines.
• Red Sea International Airport (Hanak, Tabuk Region): APSCO provides design and engineering services, quantity surveying, cost and project management for a temporary fueling station.

Regional & Domestic Presence:

APSCO has successfully completed construction, modification, and upgrade projects in several regional and domestic airports across Saudi Arabia, including Abha, Yanbu, Rafha, Tabuk, Bisha, Al-Baha, Najran, Turaif, Al-Wedjh, Al-Hassa, Taif, Gurayat, Sharurah, Ghassim, Al Jouf, Qaisumah, Hail, Dawadmi, Wadi Dawaser, Jizan, and Arar
